Submissions are now closed for CheddaREvolution: Songs of Resurgence - a collection of new and original Wisconsin protest songs co-produced by WORT Music Director Sybil Augustine and Fred Schepartz, author of Vampire Cabbie and Publisher/Executive Editor of Mobius: The Journal Of Social Change.
 
We're finalizing the list of chosen tracks to be featured on the album now. The planned release date is Labor Day. Details of the release party with some of these musicians performing live will be announced soon!
 
This 2018 album is a sequel to the award-winning compilation Cheddar Revolution: Songs of Uprising that we produced in 2012, also featuring a multitude of styles and genres. All songs from both albums plus bonus tracks are available for free download from this site, but your donations are appreciated to help make this music free and available to everyone.
 
We believe in the great value of the voices of local musicians in the resistance movement. By compiling and promoting this music, we hope to inspire greater voter turnout and a grassroots revolution to bring our state back to the progressive Wisconsin we know and love. Thank you for supporting these musicians by listening, and please help by spreading the word.
